Peace would like to know whether
you have someone close to you or your family who is currently
serving oversees in the armed forces, helping to restore peace
somewhere in the world. Please contact Nancy Nystuen at 597-3709
or nystuen@meltel.net so that she can compile a list of soldiers
we should pray for. Please let her know who the soldier is,
their relationship to your family and where they are serving.

Women of Peace
Did you know that if you are a women
member of Peace Lutheran Church you are also a member of The
Women of Peace? There are no initiations, no dues, no obligations.
You are simply a member. It is your choice as to whether or
not you will be an active member. We hope and pray that you
will!
The Women of Peace meet twice a year
for member meetings. May and November will be the months set
for those meetings. We do our best to keep active throughout
the year.
In an effort to keep all members involved
and informed a bulletin board is up in the narthex by the
information table. Board members names and telephone numbers
are posted. Please feel free to call with your input, concerns
and suggestions.
Let's not forget the donation box for
The Place of Hope. I have taken over several loads of donated
items. The Place of Hope greatly appreciates your generosity.
We are in contact and hope to continue our Place of Hope service.
More information soon!
You are in my prayers,
Mary Groehler
